Woo out of class early, all we did was discuss what’s coming up, and got an assignment due by 7:00 tonight, and yeah. It’s an easy assignment, too!
Here’s 2 hours I didn’t think I’d have to myself :3
I wish I had my zoom lens, where I’m sitting I can see these people preaching outside the window, one guy yelling about god and stuff, and this other guy holding a huge yellow sign that on one side says “JESUS SAVES FROM HELL”, and on the other side it says “YOU NEED JESUS”

View Larger Okay, this is the first bit of my first homework assignment I’ve gotten. Its for Drawing I, and I just did this while waiting in the arts center for class to start.
The assignment is, on an 18x24 sheet of sketch paper, draw a 1-inch border (yet to do), then a line, and draw 5 objects. I need to spend at least 2 hours drawing, and I just spent a half an hour drawing this, so I think I’m good. Can only use B-grade graphite pencils.
Oh, and the real catch? We aren’t allowed to erase, lol.
This assignment isn’t for perfection, its so she can see how we see things, which is shown in how we draw, from start to finish.
Today’s Schedule:
- 11:15am-12:10pm Art History I
- 2:30pm-3:25pm Seminar I
- 4:10pm-6:40pm 2D Foundations
So I’ll be on probably around 12:10 or so to about 2:00 or so.
And maybe for a bit between Seminar and 2D, idk :P
Woah, its crazy thinking I’m gonna be going to college starting Monday. I really need to map out my classes, lol.
I got a big scholarship! :D
I was accepted to Wright State University a couple months ago, and I’m going there for a BA in Fine Arts and to get a Master’s in Teaching.
So, they have a scholarship called the Wright State ArtsGala Scholarship, which involved a portfolio review/letter of recommendation from an art teacher. So I submitted these things a few weeks ago.
Today I just got a letter in the mail from Wright State, and it was telling me that I won the ArtsGala Scholarship for $2000! Renewable for second year!
So, I won $4000 in scholarship money, I’m feeling pretty awesome :D
