Holga 120n photography

During my senior year in high school, I took Photo II for a second time, and since I had done the regular assignments before, my teacher allowed me to do some of the advanced Photo Assignments. One of which was Holga Photography.

The camera, a Holga 120n

The film, Kodak 120 size film (6x6cm negatives)

Since the darkroom there could only be used for printing black and white photos, I figured out the scanner in the room had a negatives tray, in which it could scan in 35mm or 120size negatives. I scanned these in at 8x8inches at 600dpi, and didn’t apply any effects.

I love photography with a Holga, the plastic lens makes the photos look so cool and different. It was a whole lot of fun. I also absolutely love the colors! :D

I took this using Kodak 220 black and white 100 speed film in a Holga 120n. I developed the film by normal black and white development process. I made a darkroom print of the photo, but for this image I scanned it into a Photo room computer from the negative at 8x8inches 600ppi.This is part of the first roll of film I’ve taken with the Holga 120, and the first medium format film I’ve experimented with, and now I have 5 rolls of color 120 film that I’m going to use in the Holga.
